Slow down, settle in and enjoy a week in one of Vietnam’s most beautiful towns. Our Hoi An Women’s Escape is all about experiencing more by doing a little less — staying in one lovely, premium hotel and giving yourself time to really enjoy being there. Spend your days getting creative with local artists and makers, discovering Vietnamese food and coffee, swimming and snorkelling around the Cham Islands, and exploring the culture and history of Central Vietnam. And with plenty of free time built in, there’s space for massages, shopping, tailoring, long lunches, pool time or simply wandering the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An. It’s a relaxed week of creativity, culture, connection and slow travel — with no packing and unpacking along the way.

Welcome to beautiful Hoi An!
On arrival at Da Nang Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to our lovely hotel, where you’ll be staying for the entire week.
Take some time to unpack, settle in and start slowing down. If you’re new to Hoi An, you can join a guided wander through the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town, discovering its colourful merchant houses, temples, narrow streets and famous Japanese Covered Bridge.
This evening you’ll come together for our welcome dinner — the perfect chance to meet everyone and toast to the week ahead.
Accommodation: La Siesta Hoi An or similar
Meals: Welcome dinner
Included: Airport transfer, optional guided Hoi An Ancient Town walk
Today is all about two things Vietnam does particularly well — coffee and creativity.
You’ll start with a relaxed introduction to Vietnam’s distinctive coffee culture. Learn about the different styles and flavours and, of course, sample some favourites along the way.
Later, we’ll meet local artist Le Thuy for the first of our silk-painting workshops. Over three sessions during the week, you’ll learn the techniques behind this beautiful traditional art form and gradually create your own piece to take home.
There’s no need to rush today. Between activities, there’ll be plenty of time to relax by the pool, book a massage or head into Hoi An for a wander.
Accommodation: La Siesta Hoi An or similar
Meals: Breakfast
Included: Vietnamese coffee experience, silk-painting workshop
Today we swap Hoi An’s lanterns for turquoise water as we head out to the beautiful Cham Islands.
After breakfast, you’ll transfer to the port and take a short speedboat ride across to the islands. Spend the day swimming and snorkelling in clear tropical waters, spotting colourful fish and coral, exploring the island and enjoying a completely different side of Central Vietnam.
Stop for a locally prepared lunch by the sea, with time afterwards to swim, relax on the beach or simply enjoy being somewhere rather lovely.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll make our way back to Hoi An for a free evening.
Accommodation: La Siesta Hoi An or similar
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Included: Cham Islands excursion, speedboat, snorkelling
No early start today!
The morning is deliberately free, giving you time to enjoy Hoi An however you like. Sleep in, linger over breakfast, head to the pool, organise a massage, check on your latest tailoring order or find a favourite café and watch the world go by.
There may also be time today for another session with our silk-painting artist as your artwork begins to take shape.
For those wanting to explore further, there will be the option to cycle through the peaceful countryside and villages of Cam Kim Island.
Tonight head into town for Teh Dar, a wonderful contemporary cultural performance combining storytelling, music, dance and bamboo circus with traditions inspired by Vietnam’s ethnic communities.
Accommodation: La Siesta Hoi An or similar
Meals: Breakfast
Included: Teh Dar cultural performance
Optional: Cam Kim cycling experience
Roll up your sleeves — today we’re getting creative again!
We’ll begin with a hands-on jewellery workshop where you’ll learn some of the techniques used by local silversmiths and design and make your own silver ring. Best of all, you’ll have a very personal little piece of Hoi An to take home with you.
Later, we turn our attention to food with a Central Vietnamese cooking experience. Learn about local ingredients and flavours as we prepare a selection of dishes together — before sitting down to enjoy what we’ve made.
Afterwards, the rest of the day is yours. Perhaps a quiet afternoon by the pool is in order.
Accommodation: La Siesta Hoi An or similar
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Included: Silver jewellery-making workshop, Vietnamese cooking class
For our final full day, we’ll venture beyond Hoi An to discover another side of Central Vietnam.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed My Son Sanctuary, once the spiritual and religious centre of the ancient Champa Kingdom. Hidden amongst lush green hills, its centuries-old red-brick temples offer a fascinating glimpse into a civilisation that flourished here long before modern Vietnam.
Alternatively, depending on the group and previous travels, we may visit the lesser-known Ky Anh Tunnels to learn about the region’s wartime history and the lives of local communities.
We’ll keep the afternoon relaxed, with time for our final silk-painting session, some last-minute shopping or simply enjoying the hotel.
Tonight, we’ll come together for a farewell dinner, celebrating a week of creativity, culture, good food and new friendships in Hoi An.
Accommodation: La Siesta Hoi An or similar
Meals: Breakfast, farewell dinner
Included: My Son Sanctuary or Ky Anh Tunnels excursion
Enjoy one last leisurely breakfast before your Hoi An escape comes to an end.
