We’re excited to welcome you on one of our small group experiences with Pip & Co Travel.
Please note the following Terms and Conditions that will apply to your trip.
It is your responsibility to read and understand our Terms and Conditions, and how they may affect your trip.
We are happy to clarify or answer any questions you may have.
Feel free to contact penny@pipandcotravel.com and we’ll be happy to assist with any additional information.
All bookings are made with Pip & Co Travel (ABN 77 964 320 356) (us/we). By booking a trip with us, you are deemed to have agreed to these booking conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis.
Because we limit our group tours to a smaller number of attendees, our trips will only go ahead if we reach a required minimum number of guests.
Pip & Co Travel payments are split into 2 instalments: a deposit to reserve your spot on tour and a final payment for the balance.
No one books a trip with the intention of cancelling, but unexpected events do occur. Our cancellation policy is in place to help guests, our local partners and us through expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.
If you are not able to make a trip, we allow you to transfer the trip to someone of your choosing, found and assigned by you, no later than 30 days prior to departure and in writing. In that case, we will be transferring any payments you’ve made to that person and the new assigned guest will be responsible for making the pending payments. You will be responsible for recovering any monies already paid from the guest yourself.
Your trip credit can be used for any other trip on any other date.
Credits are transferable to any other trip or guest, but they are not refundable.
No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to attend or failure to complete the tour, or for arriving late or leaving early. If you arrive late to a tour, any costs required to reach the location where the rest of the group is at the time of your arrival will be at your expense.
We do not issue refunds for any part of the trip not used, including (but not limited to) meals, activities, or any other services.
Pip & Co Travel reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip departure.
95 days or more in advance: For cancellations due to not filling a trip due to a lack of participants, we will cancel the trip no later than 95 days in advance and refund your entire balance.
There are no refunds for any part of the trip not used, including (but not limited to) meals, activities, or any other services.
You are responsible for arranging all of your travel insurance. Your travel insurance MUST cover at least the following: cover against trip cancellation, plus cover for personal liability, injury, medical emergencies and medical evacuation, repatriation in case of death, and other as recommended by your travel agent.
We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.
We will not be responsible for any uninsured costs arising as a result of your trip being impacted by pandemics or illness.
You must provide your travel insurance policy number and the insurance company’s 24-hour emergency contact number prior to your trip, you will not be able to join the trip without these details.
Smoking is not allowed in any Pip & Co Travel booked transport, hotel rooms, restaurants, or within the vicinity of the tour group.
We will do our best to accommodate specific dietary requirements, but cannot guarantee that we will successfully manage all dietary needs or be able to cater for specific allergies.
Please keep your baggage to a minimum and try to bring only what’s required. A day pack as your ‘carry-on luggage’ is really useful too!
Whatever the bag type, you must be able to carry your own bag comfortably by yourself. And be mindful of local airline luggage limits if there’s a domestic flight on your trip. Any limits will be listed in your trip notes, which you’ll receive in plenty of time before you’re packing!
Pip & Co Travel does not accept responsibility for any lost or damaged bags — please be insured for this.
Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the trip finish date. Check with your travel agent regarding visas or inoculations — they are your responsibility, so please make sure you have the appropriate ones. You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries you will visit during your tour.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your tour; please refer to the itinerary or relevant government website for details. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.
All meals, activities, accommodation, transport, and guides as stated in each tour’s itinerary.
Visa fees, international flight costs, meals or activities not stated in the itinerary, airport taxes, personal items, snacks, drinks (except with meals), vaccinations, tips or gratuities, laundry, telephone, minibar, personal travel insurance, alcoholic beverages.
We hope not to have any of these, but should you feel that something did not meet your expectations, please write to us in case we can rectify the situation.
We provide all tour participants with detailed itineraries prior to booking and departure. The boutique nature of our itineraries means that they may be subject to minor changes, updates and additions as we get closer to departure. Any changes would reflect the goal of enhancing your tour experience.
We aim to make our trips as special as possible, and some tours may include a photographer who will take candid photography throughout the tour at no extra cost.
All tour costs are considered on a twin sharing basis with two guests per room with twin or double bedding.
If you are travelling solo, a single supplement (in most cases this is available) will apply per trip payable on booking. If you would be happy to be paired with a room mate, we may be able to accommodate your request however this is dependent on other travellers booking the trip and is not guaranteed.
Participants assume the risk involved when participating in foreign travel, and any and all activities and/or pursuits voluntarily undertaken while participating in the tour.
By participating in any Pip & Co Travel tour you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release Pip & Co Travel and our local partners and agents from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown.
Please be prepared to sign a ‘Waiver of Responsibility’ form before you begin your tour. This form is an understanding that all guests need to exercise judgement and care at all times to ensure their own safety and that of their fellow travellers.
