Then join an indigo dyeing workshop at a private artist studio and learn the ancient technique of dye fermentation. Tie-dye your very own scarf and discover the designer in you.

The afternoon is free for you to wander. Meet up with your tailor or get some massages. For lunch, consider dropping into Hoi An market just up the road from An Social where the most authentic and delicious local food can be found. You can tell it’s good when there are few tourists around. Dishes are around USD1.50 – 2.00  (30-50,000 VND)

For dinner, indulge in specialities such as duck breast smoked with green tea.
